Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Valid state medical license or the ability to obtain licensure in Texas.
• Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist services, including managing deliveries, emergency obstetric cases, and postpartum care.
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with medical teams and patients.
• Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations efficiently.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Previous locum or hospitalist experience.
• Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, to serve diverse patient populations.
• Familiarity with high-risk obstetrics.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Completion of residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in inpatient obstetric care.
• Prior experience working within hospitalist or locum tenens roles is advantageous.

• Must hold and maintain valid licensure and certifications.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing education and compliance training.
