Required Skills:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN)
• Valid medical license to practice in Texas
• Current hospital-based experience in obstetrics
• Excellent clinical skills and judgment in managing obstetric cases
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with high-risk pregnancies
• Ability to perform procedures such as C-sections, forceps deliveries, and episiotomies
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Prior locum or interim physician experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of OB hospitalist experience in a hospital setting
• Current and unrestricted medical license in Texas

Other Requirements:

• Flexibility to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday)
• Willingness to travel to and from the location as needed
• All relevant hospital and state certifications up-to-date
• Willing to undergo background checks and credential verification

This position offers a highly competitive hourly pay rate of $195.00, with weekly pay via direct deposit.
