Required Skills:

• Valid and active Medical License in Florida
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist services
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to independently manage OB emergencies and deliveries

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Prior locum or temporary physician work experience
• Familiarity with hospital-based obstetric protocols
• Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish/English

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of post-residency hospitalist experience in obstetrics
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
• Active Florida medical license or eligibility

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on or around December 31, 2025
• Willingness to work on weekends, specifically for the specified shift
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as required
• Compliance with hospital and state/federal health and safety regulations
