Join Our Team as a Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist in San Antonio, TX

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and committed physician to fill a temporary Locum position, providing exceptional obstetric services and ensuring the safest, highest quality care for patients. Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Valid state medical license for Texas
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Family Medicine with OB Hospitalist experience
- Active DEA and State Medical Board certifications
- Proven experience in inpatient obstetrics and hospital-based care
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual skills, especially Spanish, to enhance patient care
- Past work in a hospitalist or locum tenens setting
- Knowledge of current obstetrics practices and protocols
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- At least 2+ years of postgraduate OB hospitalist experience
- Prior experience working within the Texas healthcare system
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on December 31, 2025
- Willingness to travel locally as needed
- Must have or obtain current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Commitment to maintaining licensure compliance and staying current with continuing education requirements
