We are looking for a highly skilled OB Hospitalist to cover weekend shifts, delivering critical obstetric care in a busy hospital setting. Your expertise will ensure the safety and comfort of patients during your shift, working alongside a committed team to uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence. Required Skills:
- Valid and unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven clinical experience in obstetrics and hospital medicine
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience working as a hospitalist or in locum tenens roles
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Advanced life support (ACLS, NRP) certifications
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in obstetrics or hospital medicine
- Prior work experience in hospitalist roles, preferably in obstetrics
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on 12/31/2025 for weekend coverage
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Willingness to travel if required for licensure or certification reimbursements
- Active BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications as applicable
