Required Skills:

• Valid physician license in Texas
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN)
• Minimum of 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
• Ability to manage high-acuity obstetric cases effectively
• Strong assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with high-risk pregnancies
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Prior work in a hospitalist setting
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Active medical license in Texas or eligible for licensing
• Recent obstetric hospitalist or inpatient OB-GYN experience within the last 3 years

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work weekend shifts on a regular basis
• Willingness to travel for credentialing or licensing purposes when needed
• Current board certification or eligibility in OB-GYN
• Compliance with all hospital and state/federal health regulations
