Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Houston, TX

Required Skills:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid Texas medical license or the ability to obtain one
- Proven experience in inpatient obstetric care, including labor and delivery
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent bedside manner
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Knowledge of high-risk obstetrics
- Bilingual abilities to better serve diverse patient populations
- Past experience working in hospitalist or inpatient settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency obstetric inpatient care
- Prior locum or hospitalist experience is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Ability to travel to assigned facilities as needed; travel and licensure reimbursements provided
- Commitment to maintaining current medical licensure and certifications
