Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Valid medical license and board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Proven experience as an OB Hospitalist or in inpatient obstetric practice.
• Excellent clinical skills with the ability to handle high-volume patient loads efficiently.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to adapt to busy hospital environments and work independently when necessary.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Prior work as a locum or temp physician.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree with at least 3 years of postgraduate obstetric practice.
• Current ACLS and NRP certifications.
• Previous experience working in Houston or the Texas healthcare system is a plus.

Other Requirements:

• Must hold valid and active medical license in Texas.
• Capable of working on a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Willingness to travel to different hospital sites if required.
• Valid DEA license optional but advantageous.
