Required Skills:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid Texas medical license or the ability to obtain one
• Proven experience in inpatient obstetric care, including labor and delivery
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent bedside manner
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Knowledge of high-risk obstetrics
• Bilingual abilities to better serve diverse patient populations
• Past experience working in hospitalist or inpatient settings

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of post-residency obstetric inpatient care
• Prior locum or hospitalist experience is a plus

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Ability to travel to assigned facilities as needed; travel and licensure reimbursements provided
• Commitment to maintaining current medical licensure and certifications
