Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid Texas medical license
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Medicine
• Experience conducting Compensation & Pension exams or related assessments preferred
• Ability to perform interview-based evaluations, with basic physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in your own office location

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience with Veterans Affairs or government healthcare programs
• Familiarity with medical documentation and reporting requirements
• Ability to handle administrative follow-up tasks efficiently

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Prior experience in general medicine or occupational health settings
• Experience with compensation and pension evaluations is highly desirable

Other Requirements:

• Local candidates only; travel included in compensation rates
• Willingness to perform one-time exams and ongoing assessments as needed
• Ability to complete required credentialing and onboarding swiftly
• No prescribing or treatment responsibilities; focus on interview-based assessments
• Availability for either half-day or full-day shifts based on exam needs
• No reimbursement for certifications or portal training prior to start

This role offers competitive pay, with hourly rates of $624.00, including bonus incentives upon training completion.
