Job Title: Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Pendleton, OR
Overview:
Join a dynamic team as a Locum OB Hospitalist at CHI St. Anthony, a vital part of the MHAS program in Pendleton, Oregon, situated approximately 200 miles east of Portland. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality obstetric care in a supportive environment while enjoying flexible scheduling. You will deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care during 24-hour shifts, including clinic responsibilities on weekdays and on-call duties on weekends, contributing significantly to the health and well-being of the community.
Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Oregon
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven experience in obstetrics and labor and delivery care
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with healthcare teams
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in hospitalist or inpatient OB care
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish preferred)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics
- Current American Heart Association BLS and NRP certifications
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work approximately 20 shifts per month starting December 1, 2025
- Ability to handle on-call responsibilities during weekends and evenings
- Willingness to travel to or within Oregon if necessary
- Credentialing requirements and state-specific licensure compliance
Hourly Pay Rate: $214.50
