Are you a dedicated OB Hospitalist looking to contribute your expertise in a vibrant hospital setting? CHI St. Anthony, a vital MHAS program located in the scenic city of Pendleton, Oregon, is seeking a highly skilled Locum Physician to provide exceptional obstetric care. This is a fantastic opportunity to work approximately 20 shifts per month, delivering critical services in a supportive environment while enjoying the beauty of Eastern Oregon.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Valid medical license with OB hospitalist experience preferred
- Proven skills in obstetric and inpatient care, including managing labor, delivery, and postpartum cases
- Strong assessment and decision-making capabilities in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary staff
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Additional certifications such as NRP, ACLS, or other relevant credentials
- Prior experience working in hospital-based obstetric care settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in OB-GYN or family medicine with OB experience
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice, with hospitalist experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- Active medical license in Oregon or the ability to obtain one quickly
- Willingness to work 24-hour shifts, including weekdays and weekends on-call shifts
