Join Our Prestigious Medical Team as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology specialist to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic clinical setting. This vital role involves managing a comprehensive range of women's health services, including obstetric care, gynecological assessments, and outpatient procedures. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the health and well-being of women throughout their reproductive lives, offering both clinical expertise and compassionate support.
Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in applicable state
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven experience in clinical obstetrics and gynecology
- Strong knowledge of women's health issues, prenatal and postpartum care
- Proficiency in fetal monitoring, ultrasound interpretation, and laboratory procedures
- Exceptional communication and patient-centered care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with IMLC credentialing
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Additional certifications in fetal monitoring or related specialties
- Prior experience in outpatient clinical settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of post-residency clinical practice
- PALS certification is required; fetal monitoring certification is necessary
- Experience with night and weekend call responsibilities
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work scheduled clinic days, overnight, and weekend shifts as specified
- In-house access to lab and ultrasound services
- Availability for on-call duties with a 1:4 rotation ratio
- Must have a Quality Letter for IMLC providers; CNMs are not utilized for hospital services, but NPs assist in outpatient practice
- Travel and licensure reimbursements are provided where applicable
