Required Skills:

• Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology or Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care
• Extensive experience (10+ years) in Pediatric Cardiac ICU
• Proven ability to collaborate closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in high-pressure situations

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with pediatric cardiac surgery patient management
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
• Advanced training in pediatric advanced life support (PALS) and critical care protocols
• Leadership experience in a critical care setting

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Fellowship-certified in Pediatric Cardiology or Pediatric Critical Care
• Minimum of 10 years of dedicated Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience
• Prior experience in a hospital setting with pediatric cardiac units

Other Requirements:

• Availability for flexible scheduling including day and night shifts
• Ability to work up to 7 consecutive shifts, with a maximum of 4 night shifts in a row
• Possession of valid medical license and certifications applicable to the state
• Optional flexibility for coverage of cardiology patients on pediatric floors
• No travel required; standard shift coverage
