Required Skills:

• Valid medical license in Texas
• Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in obstetric care, including triage, delivery, and inpatient management
• Strong clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to manage OB triage, admissions, and emergencies effectively
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with surgical assists during Cesarean sections
• Prior involvement in hospitalist or OB-GYN-specific roles
• Familiarity with healthcare technology and electronic medical records
• Bilingual abilities are a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications

Other Requirements:

• Availability to cover specific dates, including December through March, with flexibility for additional dates as needed
• Willingness to credential 2-3 providers
• Ability to work 24-hour shifts and night call coverage
• Willingness to adapt to scheduled shifts and emergency situations
• Ability to maintain compliance with hospital and state regulations

This role offers an hourly pay rate of $214.50, with orientation hours at 50% of the standard rate, additional pay for overtime over 40 hours/week, and a 1.25x rate for holidays.
