Locum - Physician - Hospitalist - OB Forth Worth, TX

Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in Texas
- Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven experience in obstetric care, including triage, delivery, and inpatient management
- Strong clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to manage OB triage, admissions, and emergencies effectively
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with surgical assists during Cesarean sections
- Prior involvement in hospitalist or OB-GYN-specific roles
- Familiarity with healthcare technology and electronic medical records
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
Other Requirements:
- Availability to cover specific dates, including December through March, with flexibility for additional dates as needed
- Willingness to credential 2-3 providers
- Ability to work 24-hour shifts and night call coverage
- Willingness to adapt to scheduled shifts and emergency situations
- Ability to maintain compliance with hospital and state regulations
This role offers an hourly pay rate of $214.50, with orientation hours at 50% of the standard rate, additional pay for overtime over 40 hours/week, and a 1.25x rate for holidays.
