Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey's largest and most comprehensive health network, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our growing behavioral health team at Ocean University Medical Center in Brick, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents in various clinical settings.
  • Develop, implement, and manage individualized patient care plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including pediatricians, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Engage with patients' families and caregivers to provide education, support, and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

 

Requirements:

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from a recognized medical or osteopathic school.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Must have or be eligible to obtain an unrestricted New Jersey Medical License, CDS, and DEA registration.
  • Demonstrated commitment to outstanding, patient-centered care.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

 

COMPENSATION:

Minimum Starting Base Salary: $259,252

Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the organization.

Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.

Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
