Our Pathologists provide all pathology services for the Hospital, Ambulatory Surgery, 30+ healthcare centers, and long-term care facilities.

Pathology Practice:
- Step into a collegial and career-building opportunity from day one that provides a broad practice, a variety of cases, and an amicable work environment with two other Pathologists.
- Approximately 90% of the work focuses on Anatomic Pathology and cytology, including grossing of surgical specimens, frozen sections, gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology. Pathologists also provide adequacy for fine needle aspiration.
- Pathologists provide consultation in the clinical laboratory. The clinical laboratory departments include chemistry, special chemistry, serology, immunology, histology, hematology, coagulation, transfusion medicine, and a full microbiology department, including susceptibility testing.
- The Laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and operates as a Core Lab, reporting approximately 1.5 million tests annually.

Morris Hospital is a Level II Perinatal Care Provider, Primary Stroke Certified, and an active participant in an Accountable Care Organization (ACO) since 2015. We continue to grow through innovation and investment:
- Our recent $74 million master facility plan, launched in 2018, has modernized nearly every aspect of our campus.
- A new Emergency Department (opened March 2020) with 17 private, state-of-the-art rooms.
- Renovated Cardiac/EMG Diagnostics, Infusion Therapy, and Imaging Departments, including a new Women’s Imaging Center.
