Hospitalist - Pediatrics

Required Skills:
- Valid medical license and board certification in Pediatrics
- Proven experience in pediatric inpatient and outpatient care
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to handle newborn and pediatric populations with compassion and professionalism
- Proficiency in documentation and electronic medical records
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with CLIA-waived testing procedures
- Prior work in a clinic-based or hospital setting
- Familiarity with pediatric emergencies and neonatal care
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Minimum 3 years of pediatric clinical practice
- Previous hospitalist or outpatient pediatric experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- Must be capable of working a rotating call schedule, including weekends
- Ability to perform approximately 10 days of call per month, primarily for newborn care
- Willingness to participate in non-office hours on-call duties and documentation
- Willingness to travel or provide coverage as needed
- Valid state medical license and appropriate certifications
