The Division of Adult Cardiac Surgery and Lung Transplant within the Department of Surgery at UCSF delivers comprehensive, world-class care for patients needing complex cardiovascular surgery and advanced aortic intervention. UCSF is nationally recognized for excellence in cardiothoracic surgery, high-volume clinical programs, advanced imaging, and multidisciplinary heart care.
We are seeking a mission-driven adult cardiothoracic surgeon to serve as
Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Surgery – Adult Cardiothoracic Surgeon, Surgical Co-Director of the Complex Aortic Surgery Program. This is a unique leadership opportunity to guide a growing aortic center, collaborate with cardiac and vascular specialists, and contribute to UCSF’s tradition of excellence in complex cardiovascular surgery.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See?Table 5.
The minimum base salary range for this position is $149,700 - $393,200. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Specific total compensation will be commensurate with qualifications, experience and leadership responsibilities.
