Lead Psychiatrist Opportunity at State Hospital

We are seeking a Lead Psychiatrist to join our team at the State Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting advanced psychiatric assessments, diagnosing, and treating patients under the direction of the Medical Director. Your primary duties will include:

• Administering specialized psychiatric treatments and procedures
• Developing individualized recovery plans
• Leading discussions to drive necessary changes
• Participating in committees and performance improvement activities
• Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team for patient care

Key responsibilities also include establishing physician-patient relationships, collaborating with other medical staff, and ensuring quality psychiatric care through data analysis and trend monitoring.

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• Knowledge of general medicine and psychiatry
• Skills in patient care and treatment
• Ability to develop and implement person-centered care plans
• Proficiency in electronic healthcare systems and Microsoft Office
