Pediatrician Needed in SW Kansas – Comprehensive Benefits and Zero Call

Our medical center is actively engaged in the recruitment of a full time Pediatrics Physician to provide care within our outpatient Family Care Center. Our pediatrics physicians have evenings, weekends, and recognized holidays off with no required call.

Work Schedule

  • Our typical clinic schedule is Monday thru Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Friday 8:00am to Noon.
  • Pediatrics does not require call (evenings, weekends, and recognized holidays off).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver quality care to patients of all ages.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, APP’s, and staff.
  • An interest and ability to round on a specific panel of nursing home patients is highly desirable.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Medicine
  • Board certified / Board eligible.
  • Completion of a recognized Pediatrics residency/fellowship program (required)

Experience:

  • Minimum one to three years of clinical experience required; however, will consider clinical rotations specific to area of discipline with rotations in rural communities a plus.
  • Experience in rural health / medicine (highly preferred).

About KRRC

The Kansas Recruitment and Retention Center (KRRC) partners with hospitals, private practices, community health centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), and other organizations to help strengthen the health care workforce in rural and urban under resourced communities across the State. KRRC services are designed to assist Kansas communities in recruiting and retaining physicians, dentists, pharmacists, physician assistants, APRNs, nurses, dental hygienists, allied health professionals, and behavioral health professionals. In addition to offering recruitment support for Kansas health care facilities and job search support to a variety of health care providers, the KRRC offers resources for CV/resume building, interview prep, and contract negotiation.  

Currently partnering with 55+ health care organizations, we serve as their initial point of contact and liaison in recruiting those seeking to serve in rural and urban underserved communities.
