West Virginia University School of Medicine Eastern Division, Department of Pediatrics seeks an Outpatient Pediatric Physician (ranks available: Assistant, Associate or Full Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgan County, WV

 

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Pediatrics. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

 

  • Clinic Address: 2055 Valley Road, Berkeley Springs, WV
  • Work Schedule/days per week – Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
  • Call requirements (after-hours phone call only)
  • EMR – EPIC
  • Providers in clinic – 1 Family Medicine Physician & 1 Family Medicine APP
  • Expected Patient volume – 16-18 per day
  • Expectation of patient age range – Birth to 24 years

 

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent State medical license and DEA registration is required by start date. Successful candidate must have completed Pediatric residency program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in Pediatrics.  All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

A rural atmosphere and a lower cost of living mixed with the easy accessibility to the Washington DC / Baltimore areas make the Eastern Panhandle an ideal place in which to live.
