Vascular Surgeon
Full-Time
Adirondack Health | Saranac Lake, New York
There are very few places left where you can practice sophisticated vascular surgery while living in one of the most storied and protected landscapes in the country. This position offers exactly that opportunity.
Adirondack Health, an independent, nonprofit health system, is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to join a well-established and highly respected vascular program serving the heart of the Adirondack Park, a six-million-acre expanse of mountains, lakes, forests, and historic communities unlike anywhere else in the United States.
The Practice
Adirondack Health is a rare organization: a mission-driven, independent nonprofit system that delivers an impressive depth of services across a large rural geography. Our size allows for agility, collaboration, and physician voice, while our scope supports complex, high-quality care.
This role offers the opportunity to practice the full spectrum of vascular surgery, supported by modern facilities and a deeply collaborative clinical culture.
The Organization
Adirondack Health is an independent, nonprofit medical center serving multiple communities across the Adirondack region. Unlike large corporate systems, decisions here are made locally, with a clear focus on patient care, sustainability, and physician engagement. Our clinicians enjoy meaningful input, strong administrative partnership, and the satisfaction of seeing the direct impact of their work.
Physicians here value excellence without ego, teamwork over hierarchy, and long-term commitment to both their practice and their neighbors.
