Required Skills:

• Valid medical license with radiation oncology certification
• Proven experience in radiation treatment oversight and patient consultation
• Proficiency in radiation treatment planning and in-house procedures
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interprofessional collaboration skills
• Ability to document patient interactions thoroughly and accurately

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in inpatient consultation and roundings
• Familiarity with radiation oncology treatment technologies and systems
• Previous work in hospital or outpatient oncology settings
• Ability to handle emergent radiation consultation requests efficiently

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in Radiation Oncology
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy
• Prior experience working in a hospital or multi-disciplinary healthcare environment

Other Requirements:

• Availability on February 5 and 6, 2026, on-site during specified hours
• Willingness to supervise and oversee radiation treatments and consultations on scheduled days
• Capacity to respond to rare emergent requests for radiation therapy outside regular hours
• Compliance with all institutional, state, and federal regulations
• This role involves on-site presence during treatment hours with minimal after-hours call responsibilities
