Required Skills:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Valid medical license in Michigan
• Proficiency in performing colonoscopies, EGD, ERCP, and other advanced GI procedures
• Strong clinical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient management abilities
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working with Epic EMR system
• Prior outpatient GI practice experience
• Familiarity with trauma-level 2 hospital settings

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO)
• Completion of hepatology or advanced GI fellowships preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in gastroenterology

Other Requirements:

• Local provider status; mileage reimbursement only
• Ability to start as soon as credentialing is completed (90-120 days)
• No night or weekend call responsibilities
• Must be able to work fixed day shifts on Mondays and Fridays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Commitment to patient-centered care and compliance with all healthcare regulations
