Exciting Opportunity for Radiation Oncology Physicians!
Join our reputable healthcare team as a Radiation Oncology Specialist and play a vital role in delivering high-quality cancer care. What You Will Do:
- Provide expert radiation oncology services using advanced equipment such as Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator, Siemens CT-Sim with respiratory gating, and treatment planning software (Varian Aria/Eclipse)
- Manage an average of 25 treatment patients daily, including IMRT, SBRT, 3D-CRT, and SRS treatments
- Conduct clinic visits with an average of 5-10 patients per day during scheduled hours of 7:30 AM to 5 PM
- Oversee a clean malpractice file for credentialing and temporary privileges, with potential for additional coverage dates beyond the initial week
- Collaborate with onsite physics team and remote dosimetry professionals to ensure precision and safety in treatments
- Participate in a no-call, weekday clinic schedule, with no nighttime, evening, or weekend call responsibilities
Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in relevant state and board certification in Radiation Oncology
- Proven experience with advanced radiation therapy techniques and treatment planning systems
- Strong understanding of IMRT, SBRT, 3D-CRT, and SRS procedures
- Excellent clinical judgment and patient management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Varian TrueBeam and Siemens CT-Sim systems
- Familiarity with remote dosimetry and physics coverage protocols
- Prior outpatient clinic experience in radiation oncology
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree with Board Certification in Radiation Oncology
- At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on 02/19/2026 with potential for additional coverage dates
- Must maintain a clean malpractice record and valid licensing credentials
- Willingness to participate in weekly onsite physics coverage and remote dosimetry duties
- No additional travel required.
