Join Our Team as an Electrophysiology Physician – Make a Difference in Cardiac Care
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrophysiology Physician to deliver exceptional cardiac care in a dynamic hospital setting. Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Cardiology (BC or BE) with specialization in electrophysiology
- AZ medical license (or eligible for licensure) and AZ DEA registration
- Minimum of 1 year of EP experience, including performing ablations
- Proficiency with Abbott Ensite-X Mapping System
- Ability to perform moderate sedation independently
- Strong knowledge of cardiac arrhythmias and device management
- Excellent clinical judgment and patient communication skills
- ACLS certification
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with TEEs and other advanced electrophysiological procedures
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR
- Prior experience supporting cath lab and hospital consults
- Ability to work independently with moderate sedation
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated success in performing 100+ EP cases, emphasizing ablations within the last two years
- At least one year of post-residency electrophysiology practice
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work scheduled shifts from 07:00 to 17:00, including scheduled overtime at 1.5x rate and holiday pay
- Ability to quickly complete credentialing within 30 days
- Willingness to work in a hospital with a bed size of 268, performing 3-4 hospital consults and 4-6 EP cases daily
- Comfortable with Cerner EMR documentation and moderate sedation
