We are looking for a highly skilled physician to provide flexible, short-term coverage across multiple facilities in Omaha and Lincoln, NE. In this role, you will cover clinic consultations, inpatient L&D and postpartum care, and participate in after-hours call duties. Your expertise will ensure seamless care during critical moments, supporting a team committed to high-quality obstetric outcomes. With flexible scheduling options, this position allows for ongoing engagement while maintaining work-life balance, all within a collaborative and professional environment.

Required Skills:

• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology with specialization in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Valid medical license to practice in Nebraska
• Minimum of 20 deliveries in the past 24 months
• Proficiency in all standard maternal fetal medicine procedures
• Strong clinical acumen and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize patient care

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Previous locum or hospital-based practice experience
• Ability to perform fetal interventions or advanced ultrasound techniques
• Experience working across multiple facilities or rotating between sites

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Residency and fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• At least 3 years’ experience in a clinical obstetrics setting
• Recent practice experience with hospital privileges and obstetric certifications

Other Requirements:

• Ability to start as soon as credentialing is complete (anticipated timeframe 60-90 days)
• Availability for scheduled shifts on specific date ranges, including weekends and holidays
• Willingness to travel within Nebraska and stay at preferred accommodations
