Required Skills:

• Valid medical license and Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiology
• Proven experience in inpatient cardiology care and patient rounding
• Excellent clinical evaluation and diagnostic skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism

Nice to Have Skills:

• Advanced cardiology procedural skills (e.g., cardiac catheterization, echocardiography)
• Previous experience in a locum or temporary staffing environment
• Familiarity with hospital electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Fellowship training in Cardiology
• At least two years of inpatient cardiology practice experience
• Prior experience working in a hospital setting is highly desirable

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work at least two full weeks per month
• Flexibility to provide inpatient coverage on a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule
• Availability for inpatient and rounding duties daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., including night call after shifts
• OT compensation for hours worked beyond 12 hours per day
• Must comply with all applicable licensure, certification, and hospital credentialing requirements
• Willingness to travel and accommodate reimbursements as applicable
