Required Skills:

• Valid medical license to practice in Texas
• Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN)
• Proven experience in OB hospitalist or inpatient obstetric care
• Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience with hospital privileging processes
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• BLS/ACLS certification

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• At least 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience preferred
• Prior locum or temp clinician experience is a plus

Other Requirements:

• Hospital can provide expedited privileges for candidates with clean files
• Willingness to travel to Rockwall, TX, for coverage periods
• Maintain current certifications and licensure throughout assignment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in accordance with all applicable laws and hospital policies
