Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Locum OB Hospitalist to provide high-quality obstetric care at a reputable facility in Rockwall, Texas. This role offers the flexibility to work on your schedule while ensuring excellent outcomes for mothers and babies. Required Skills:

• Valid medical license to practice in Texas
• Board-certified or eligible in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with obstetric credentials
• Proven experience managing obstetric emergencies and prenatal care
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team
• Ability to work independently, making timely and accurate clinical decisions

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in a hospitalist role or similar setting
• Ultrasound proficiency
• Bilingual abilities
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of recent inpatient obstetric experience
• Previous locum or temporary staffing experience is a plus

Other Requirements:

• Must obtain privileges from the hospital, which can be expedited for clean files
• Willingness to work flexible hours; some overnight and weekend shifts may be required
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Travel and licensure reimbursement, as applicable
