Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver urgent emergency medical care to approximately 30 patients daily in a 20-bed ED.
• Provide coverage for 24-hour shifts, ensuring continuity of care.
• Supervise and support ED staff within a fast-paced setting utilizing Cerner EHR.
• Collaborate effectively with hospital staff, including hospitalists managing admission orders.
• Maintain high standards of clinical practice and patient safety during assigned shifts.

Required Skills:

• Valid medical license and Board Certification in Emergency Medicine.
• Proven proficiency in emergency procedures and clinical decision-making.
• Ability to manage high-volume emergency situations efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with Cerner EHR system preferred.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience in a rural or community hospital setting.
• Familiarity with fast-track procedures in emergency departments.
• Bilingual skills or additional language proficiency.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine experience, especially in high-volume or rural environments.
• Active state medical license and current ACLS/PALS certifications.

Other Requirements:

• Coverage begins on February 1, 2026, with ongoing availability for 24-hour shifts.
• Travel expenses and malpractice insurance included; accommodations not provided.
• All providers must clock in and out using Doctime; no timesheets accepted.
• Must be willing to work in a fast-paced, demanding emergency setting.

Earn $7,488 per 24-hour shift, with maximum daily pay of $9,600. Enjoy a significant role in a supportive environment, with expenses covered according to company policies.
