Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician

Join Our Team to Provide Compassionate End-of-Life Care

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physicians to deliver exceptional care to patients during their most vulnerable moments. This vital role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working within a supportive, team-oriented environment. Whether onsite or through telehealth, you will help manage complex symptoms and facilitate comfort and dignity for patients in need of specialized end-of-life services.

Required Skills:
  • Active Oregon medical license and DEA registration
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine; Hospice experience strongly preferred
  • Truly Board Eligible within five years of residency
  • Proven experience in hospice or palliative care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform comprehensive assessments and manage complex symptoms
  • BLS certification

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with telehealth platforms
  • Knowledge of Idaho and Oregon healthcare systems
  • Prior experience working in outpatient hospice settings
  • Multilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Physician with a minimum of 2 years' experience in hospice or palliative medicine
  • Residency or fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine preferred
  • Familiarity with multidisciplinary team collaboration
  • Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work onsite with some telehealth flexibility
  • Availability for shared call duties, including evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Ability to adapt to changing onsite requirements starting later in January
  • Commitment to maintaining professional licensure, certifications, and compliance with all legal and regulatory standards
