Required Skills:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with active medical license
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
• Proven expertise in perioperative anesthesia care
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, patient monitoring, and pain management
• Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting
• Competency with electronic health records (preferably Epic)

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in a hospital or surgical center environment
• Proficiency with Epic or other anesthesia management software
• Experience in orthopedics, cardiothoracic, or pediatric anesthesia
• Bilingual capabilities

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia practice preferred
• Licensure in state of service
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to undergo Epic training two weeks prior to the first shift
• Upload personal data sheet into Locumsmart to initiate credentialing upon selection
• Flexibility to work 5-7 day blocks, including alternating 24-hour shifts, call days, or surgery center assignments
• Availability for full-time or PRN work, with consideration for future scheduled dates in June, July, and November 2026
• Travel and other reimbursements provided as applicable
• Must hold current MS license and drive-in capability if applicable
