Required Skills:

• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology within 5 years of residency
• Valid active California medical license and DEA certification
• Proficiency in performing ERCP and fluoroscopy procedures
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage complex gastrointestinal cases efficiently
• Flexibility to adapt to varying shift schedules and emergency call requirements

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with advanced endoscopic techniques
• Prior experience in a hospital-based or academic setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in Gastroenterology
• Proven track record in performing ERCP and fluoroscopy procedures

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on or after May 1, 2026
• Willingness to obtain permanent fluoroscopy licensure within one year of temporary license issuance
• Commitment to hospital privileging processes, which typically take 48-72 hours for approval
• Ability to document current case logs and explain any gaps greater than 3 months in employment
