How Our Model Works

We use a hybrid approach designed to keep care consistent between OR blocks:

• An on-site APPmanages outpatient clinic flow, follow-ups, and care coordination.
• The APP is supported by a remote urologistfor consultative input, care planning, and continuity.
• You focus on scheduled procedure blocks (usually 1-2 days at a time)performing general urology cases.
• Higher-acuity/complex cases are referred outthrough established pathways to appropriate centers.

This structure allows you to step into a well-supported environment, deliver high-impact procedural care efficiently, and help communities maintain reliable urology access.

Position Summary

VirtuCare is expanding our nationwide network of on-site urologic surgeons to provide scheduled weekday procedure blocks at partner hospitals and clinics. Many markets are structured so surgeons can commute in and out the same day (often no overnight stay). This opportunity is ideal for physicians who want meaningful OR work in a predictable format while supporting underserved communities.

Current Coverage Markets (Commutable From)

Coverage needs are commutable from these metro areas (site structure varies by market—single site vs. multiple nearby sites):

• Nashville, TN— 3–4 consecutive weekdays (fly-ins accepted)
• Lexington, KY— up to 5 days per month (fly-ins accepted)
• Tucson, AZ— up to 5 days per month (fly-ins accepted)
• Indianapolis, IN— one week per month (fly-ins accepted)
• Cincinnati, OH— up to 4 days per month

These metros are regional anchors; assignments are intended to be drivable/commutable from surrounding areas. In some markets coverage is shared across multiple nearby sites.

Clinical Scope / Case Mix

• Scheduled general urologyprocedural coverage during on-site blocks
• APP-led outpatient clinics with remote urologist support for continuity
• Complex/high-acuity cases referred outvia established referral channels

Candidate Profile

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Urology
• Comfortable with general urology procedures and team-based hybrid care
• Interest in scheduled weekday blocks (commutable and/or fly-in depending on market)
• Active/unrestricted license (or ability to obtain) in the relevant state(s)
