We’re seeking an Internal Medicine physician who shares our C.A.R.E.S. values: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Service.

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct holistic evaluations of physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being in adult patients (18+).
• Diagnose, treat, and manage common acute and chronic conditions.
• Carefully monitor prescriptions, manage potential drug interactions, and tailor regimens for patients based on their unique circumstances.
• Collaborate with nurses, APPs, social workers, therapists, and specialists for integrated care, including timely referrals to specialists for complex cases requiring subspecialty expertise.
• Offer tailored health screenings, vaccinations, and advice for healthy aging.
• Assess daily functioning, recommend assistive devices, and advise on safety (e.g., injury prevention, driving, living alone, etc.).
• Explain conditions, treatment options, and preventive strategies in understandable ways.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Board Eligible/Board Certified Physician in Internal Medicine
• Experience working in rural outpatient clinic settings preferred.
• Experience serving as a collaborating physician with Advance Practice Providers

Location:

• This is a full-time position located within the Phelps Health Bond Building clinic in Rolla, Missouri. Possible opportunity for inpatient or outpatient duties at hospital.
