The University of Missouri Department of Surgery, Division of Pediatric Surgery is seeking a Pediatric Surgeon to join our team. A collaborative and collegial group, including Pediatric Surgeons, Surgical Nurse Practitioners, nurse clinicians, clinic nurses and administrative support deliver innovative care with cutting edge technology and established multi-disciplinary clinics and programs.
A dedicated outpatient facility for all pediatric services is connected directly to the Children’s Hospital via a sky-bridge. Pediatric volumes included 37,000 outpatient visits and 4,700 pediatric operative cases last year. Our outstanding surgical team utilizes advanced technology available at MU Healthcare.
To further strengthen our research mission, we have a dedicated research team within the Department of Surgery with an established clinical trials and outcomes platform and multiple basic science labs through the NextGen Precision Health.
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must have completed an accredited General Surgery residency and Pediatric Surgery fellowship, hold an M.D. or D.O. degree, be eligible for a Missouri medical license and board certified/eligible in Pediatric Surgery.
