Required Skills:
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Proven experience in hospital medicine, including prior ICU or vent management
- Ability to manage complex cases with confidence and precision
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Valid medical license and DEA registration
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience with vent management and ICU privileges
- Case logs reflecting a minimum of 15 ventilator management cases in the past 24 months
- Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of hospitalist experience preferred for optimal patient care delivery
- Evidence of successful ICU procedures and vent management
Other Requirements:
- Must hold current privileges for ongoing vent management, supported by relevant case logs
- Willingness to commit to 1-2 weeks per month of coverage starting mid-March or early April
- Possession of active hospital privileges or ability to obtain them
- Ability to work scheduled shifts from 7 am to 7 pm, Tuesday to Tuesday
