Required Skills:

• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Proven experience in hospital medicine, including prior ICU or vent management
• Ability to manage complex cases with confidence and precision
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making capabilities
• Excellent communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Valid medical license and DEA registration

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience with vent management and ICU privileges
• Case logs reflecting a minimum of 15 ventilator management cases in the past 24 months
• Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of hospitalist experience preferred for optimal patient care delivery
• Evidence of successful ICU procedures and vent management

Other Requirements:

• Must hold current privileges for ongoing vent management, supported by relevant case logs
• Willingness to commit to 1-2 weeks per month of coverage starting mid-March or early April
• Possession of active hospital privileges or ability to obtain them
• Ability to work scheduled shifts from 7 am to 7 pm, Tuesday to Tuesday
