Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a Podiatrist with a focused interest in diabetic foot ulcers, foot and ankle wounds, and limb salvage to join our growing outpatient Wound Care and Podiatry teams. This is a unique opportunity to practice at the top of your license within a high-volume, referral-driven wound center, supported by a robust multidisciplinary network.
As part of the most integrated healthcare system in Connecticut, you will collaborate closely with vascular surgery, endocrinology, infectious disease, plastic surgery, orthopedics, primary care, and advanced wound clinicians to deliver coordinated, evidence-based care for patients with complex lower extremity wounds.
Position Highlights:
· Dedicated role with strong emphasis on diabetic foot ulcers, Charcot neuroarthropathy, limb-threatening infections, and chronic foot and ankle wounds
· Practice within a busy, well-established outpatient wound center with strong institutional support
· Access to surgical OR time at Windham Hospital for limb salvage, reconstructive, and preventive procedures
· Integrated referral network ensuring consistent volume and continuity of care
· Collaborative, physician-led and physician-managed medical group with direct access to leadership
· Opportunity to participate in quality initiatives, limb preservation pathways, and program development
