Position Title: IOP/PHP Addiction Psychiatrist Medical Director Position

Location: SW Atlanta, GA
Talbott Recovery Main Campus on Hunter Road in Atlanta, GA is a leading addiction treatment center known for its comprehensive, evidence based programs and serene 100 acre setting designed to support long term recovery. This full-time clinical leadership role involves long-term therapeutic engagement with patients in a high-quality Intensive Outpatient and Partial Day Program treatment setting.

Position Overview:

• Employment Type: Hospital Employed full-time Medical Director
• Schedule / Hours: Monday-Friday (flexible start and end times)
• Call: Shared after hour telephonic call
• Patient Volume: Negotiable, 8-12 hours a month of administrative duty for Medical Director Position
• Location: Atlanta, GA (Southwest Atlanta near airport)
• Practice Setting: Intensive Outpatient and Partial Day Programs (IOP/PHP)
• Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers and Therapists
• EMR / Technology: Tier

Responsibilities:

• Conducting initial psychiatric evaluations
• Managing detox protocols and medication-assisted treatment
• Providing ongoing psychiatric care and psychotherapy
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team
• Participating in clinical administration, program development, and staff supervision

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Addiction Psychiatry or a Psychiatrist who is Board Certified in General Psychiatry with a Board Certification in Addiction Medicine.
• HIMSS Certification and prior leadership experience are required for this position.
• Active or eligible GA license
• Active DEA
