HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital has invested in growing the hospital’s women’s and pediatric care so that families can receive high quality care close to home. In recent years HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital has opened a new women’s and neonatal tower that includes 30 postpartum private rooms, 12 labor and delivery rooms, a 6 bed Level III NICU and 7 special care nursery beds. Trident Health system consolidated all obstetric and neonatal care to one location at HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital in 2019.
