Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Physician specializing in Emergency Medicine to provide critical coverage at West Branch, MI. Required Skills:

• Valid Medical License to practice in Michigan
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Proven experience in emergency department settings
• Proficiency in handling high-acuity cases with efficiency and professionalism
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with staff
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working with Cerner EHR system
• Previous experience in rural or community hospital settings
• Familiarity with fast-track emergency procedures
• Ability to supervise or coordinate with other healthcare providers

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of emergency medicine experience
• Prior locum or PRN staffing experience preferred

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on 03/01/2026
• Willingness to work 24-hour shifts
• Clinicians must utilize Doctime for clock-in/out; no timesheets will be processed
• Coverage includes orientation period, with pay at half the hourly rate
• Must comply with all applicable state, federal, and local laws regarding medical licensure, credentialing, and reimbursement policies
• No third-party lodging bookings; applicable expenses subject to company policies
• As a tax-exempt hospital, documentation of taxes on lodging is not reimbursed
