Required Skills:

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Valid medical license in Michigan
• Proven experience in emergency medicine or related specialties
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to supervise midlevel providers (PA or NP)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in Level 4 trauma settings
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR system
• Experience with trauma protocols and transfer procedures
• Basic knowledge of EKG interpretation (cardiology consultation experience beneficial)
• Ability to attend to codes and urgent procedures as needed

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine clinical experience
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on or before 03/01/2026
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including 8a-8p and 8p-8a, 7 days a week
• Must clock in/out via DocTime; no timesheets will be approved
• Must comply with credentialing timeline (~90 days)
• Must meet all hospital and client-specific policies, including travel and expense guidelines
