Eligibility Criteria:
- Proven experience in emergency medicine, with the ability to handle a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
- Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in radiology (CT and X-ray), laboratory procedures, and trauma management.
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in hospital or ER settings.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Additional certifications in advanced trauma life support (ATLS) or advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS).
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine.
- At least two years of post-residency ER experience.
Other Requirements:
- Valid medical license to practice in Michigan.
- Current immunizations including Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Flu, COVID vaccination, TB testing within 12 months, and Tdap within the last 10 years.
- Ability to work varied 12-hour shifts (8AM-8PM or 8PM-8AM).
- Willingness to participate in orientation and training.
- Compliance with all OSHA and hospital-specific safety protocols.
