Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Oncology/Hematology
• Valid state medical license
• DEA certification
• Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in hematology and oncology
• Proficiency in bone marrow biopsy procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage a diverse adult patient population aged 18 and up
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills:

• Additional certifications such as BLS and ACLS
• Experience with Cerner EMR system
• Prior experience working in a hospital setting
• Familiarity with inpatient and outpatient care coordination
• Exposure to advanced oncology procedures and clinical research

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Oncology fellowship program
• 3 to 5 years of clinical practice in hematology/oncology

Other Requirements:

• Must have a clean background; pre-appointment background check and license verification required upfront
• Willingness to obtain temporary state licensure if necessary
• Ability to work full-time, offering at least 3 weeks per month (Monday to Friday office hours with inpatient call every third week)
• Shift hours are primarily from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with inpatient call responsibilities
• Support staff includes nurses, CMAs, and advanced practice providers
• Emergency procedures include bone marrow biopsies

This position offers an attractive hourly pay rate of $507.00, with weekly direct deposit payments.
