Hematology/Oncology Physician

Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Oncology/Hematology
- Valid state medical license
- DEA certification
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in hematology and oncology
- Proficiency in bone marrow biopsy procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage a diverse adult patient population aged 18 and up
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional certifications such as BLS and ACLS
- Experience with Cerner EMR system
- Prior experience working in a hospital setting
- Familiarity with inpatient and outpatient care coordination
- Exposure to advanced oncology procedures and clinical research
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Oncology fellowship program
- 3 to 5 years of clinical practice in hematology/oncology
Other Requirements:
- Must have a clean background; pre-appointment background check and license verification required upfront
- Willingness to obtain temporary state licensure if necessary
- Ability to work full-time, offering at least 3 weeks per month (Monday to Friday office hours with inpatient call every third week)
- Shift hours are primarily from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with inpatient call responsibilities
- Support staff includes nurses, CMAs, and advanced practice providers
- Emergency procedures include bone marrow biopsies
This position offers an attractive hourly pay rate of $507.00, with weekly direct deposit payments.
