• Weekend Call: 24-hour call shifts on weekends (no weekday night call)

• Experience: Prior GI practice experience, endoscopy skills necessary

Pay & Benefits

• Pay Rate: Hourly rate (per hour worked 7 am- 5 pm)
• Orientation Rate: Half of hourly rate for training and orientation

What You’ll Do

• Perform outpatient and inpatient GI procedures, including endoscopy and ERCP
• Manage a caseload of approximately 18 outpatient and 20 inpatient scopes daily
• Provide consults within scheduled hours and support hospital services
• Collaborate with a team of physicians and advanced practice providers onsite
• Participate in 24-hour weekend call coverage (4 hours compensated)
• Maintain documentation within the Cerner EMR system
• Support hospital-based GI services, including lab and X-ray

What You Need
Required:

• Valid Michigan medical license and DEA registration
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
• ERCP experience is required
• At least 2 years of GI practice experience
• Proficiency in endoscopy procedures and hospital-based care

Preferred:

• Prior locum or hospital setting experience
• Strong team collaboration skills
