Required Skills:

• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
• Proven experience in performing ERCP procedures
• Ability to work independently in a hospital-based clinic setting
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Cerner

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in a hospital-based outpatient and inpatient setting
• Experience managing a high volume of endoscopic procedures
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Prior exposure to complex GI cases

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in Michigan
• At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in gastroenterology
• Certification in Advanced Endoscopy or related subspecialties (preferred but not required)

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work scheduled shifts from March 1, 2026, with open dates in early 2026
• Successful completion of credentialing and hospital privileges
• Travel and lodging reimbursements as per policy, with expenses not exceeding specified limits
• Use of DocTime for clocking in/out; no paper timesheets
• Weekend call coverage (24 hours), with 4 hours provided gratis
• Work hours primarily between 7:00 am and 4:30 pm, with availability for on-call responsibilities as scheduled
• Commitment to ensuring quality patient care in a multidisciplinary hospital environment
