City of Hope Chicago I Hematopathology/Surgical Pathology Opportunity

City of Hope Chicago (Zion, IL), as part of our expanding focus on Hematologic Malignancies and support of the Stem Cell Transplant Program, is seeking a Hematopathologist/Surgical Pathologist who is highly qualified and Board-Certified to meet the growing needs of our expanding Department of Pathology.

Position Highlights:

  • Clinical responsibilities include diagnostic services to support the clinical care of patients with hematological malignancies and general surgical pathology and clinical interpretations.
  • Join a team of Pathologists plus a multidisciplinary team of physicians and scientists.
  • The Zion site is home to an established adult hematologic malignancy and stem cell transplant practice with state-of-the-art technology and an experienced team. It is accredited by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT), is a member of the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP). 
  • City of Hope faculty appointment 

Competitive Compensation: Includes a highly competitive salary, signing bonus, relocation assistance and productivity/performance incentives. Actual compensation will be adjusted for specialty, experience, training, hospital/community needs and other factors.

Qualifications:  

  • Applicants must have an MD or equivalent medical degree and possess or be eligible for an unrestricted Illinois medical license.
  • Board Certification in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology is required.
  • Ideal candidates will have at least three years of experience in Hematopathology and Surgical Pathology.
