OVERVIEW

Regional Health System is comprised of nine hospitals, more than 90 physician clinics, over 500 employed providers, 10 rehabilitation facilities, 2 freestanding emergency centers, 6 urgent care clinics, regional home health services covering 41 counties, an EMS fleet of more than 60 ambulances +4 helicopters & comprehensive seven-trauma center care network, including a Level 1 trauma center. Service area has 600,000.

Strong ACGME accredited Graduate Medical Education program, with 20 residency & fellowship training programs in family medicine, internal medicine, neurology, psychiatry, surgery & anesthesia.

Newly built five-story, 248,000-square-foot Medical Education Building. Will receive a faculty appointment to the local medical school.

  • Ability to obtain/maintain medical license in state of Texas
    •  1+ years experience preferred
    •  Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterology
  • 2026 fellows & experienced attendings will be considered
  • Candidates should have a strong commitment to patient care, strong teaching + clinical skills with a desire for translational research.
