You’ll practice in a community Emergency Department with a manageable patient volume and strong transfer capabilities to higher levels of care when needed. About the Facility:

Ascension Seton Smithville is a Level IV Trauma Center serving Central Texas communities including Smithville, Bastrop, Cedar Creek, and Schulenburg. The hospital offers respiratory care, diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, inpatient physical therapy, outpatient surgery, and medical-surgical services. CT imaging and laboratory services are available 24/7, with efficient transfer pathways for STEMI and trauma patients requiring advanced surgical evaluation. Physicians and APPs also enjoy complimentary meals provided by the hospital cafeteria.
