We are seeking a compassionate, entrepreneurial-minded Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join our team as a partner and help shape the future direction and growth of our organization. This opportunity begins as a part-time role with a planned transition to full-time partnership, offering flexibility to accommodate life changes while contributing to the organization’s long-term vision as a partner.

Practice Details:
- Join 2 Internal Medicine and 1 Family Medicine physician partners, Nurse Practitioners, Medical Assistants, an Office Manager, and additional support staff
- Start working part-time and transition to full-time, taking over a retiring physicians practice in 2029
- Outpatient focused
- Monday - Friday: No Nights, Weekends, or Holidays
- Clinic hours:
- Monday - Thursday 8:00a to 5:00p
- Friday 8:00a to 2:30p
- Schedule: 3 or 3.5 day workweek
- Call: phone only and triaged first
- See 18 patients per day on average
- Ability to incorporate sub-specialty care
- Option to mentor medical students and residents if desired
- Provide evidence-based and value-based care
- Medicare Advantage panel management is large focus of practice, with some Fee for Service/Commercial patient care
- Lean Clinical Practice Model: Streamlines patient care, standardizing workflows, optimizing team roles, and using data-driven continuous improvement to reduce wait times, lower costs, and improve quality and patient outcomes
- NextGen EMR
What We Offer:
- Guaranteed salary
- Shareholder track
- No cap on earning potential: Full-time physicians are earning between $350K-$700K
- Profit sharing: % based on years in practice (not solely with Esse Health)
- 7% for 0-9 years, 11% for 10+ years
- Sign-on, relocation, and CME allowance
- 401k with match
- Available benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Long/Short Term Disability, Health Savings Account/Flexible Spending Account, Fraud Protection, Legal, Pet and other miscellaneous
- 4 weeks paid time off, paid holidays, and 5 paid days for CME, with even more flexibility as a shareholder
- Must work minimum of 30 hours per week to qualify for benefits
Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible with plans to certify (AB or AOA)
- Missouri licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in Missouri
