In this essential position, you will deliver high-quality outpatient and hospital-based gastroenterology services, including procedures such as endoscopies, biopsies, esophageal dilations, ERCP, and more. Your expertise will help meet critical coverage needs and ensure exceptional patient care across multiple scheduled shifts throughout the year. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong procedural skills, and be committed to excellence.

Required Skills:

• Valid medical license and Board Certification in Gastroenterology or equivalent.
• Proven experience in outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology procedures.
• Proficient in advanced endoscopic techniques including ERCP, EUS, and biopsies.
• Ability to interpret esophageal manometry and manage complex GI cases.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Epic.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Additional training or certification in hepatology or advanced endoscopy.
• Experience working in hospital call settings and managing emergent cases.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology.
• Previous experience in hospital-based practice environments preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start as early as February 7, 2026.
• On-call availability, including holiday coverage, with rates up to $9,000.
• Ability to secure credentialing within approximately 90 days.
• Willingness to travel for assigned dates, with travel reimbursements included.
• Commitment to maintaining certification and licensure standards.
