As an Optometrist at Clemson Eye, you will provide comprehensive vision care up to the full scope of your licensure. Your responsibilities include diagnosing and treating vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and eye diseases like glaucoma, as well as prescribing eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications. You will deliver pre- and postoperative care for surgical patients, evaluate systemic conditions like diabetes that affect eye health, and refer patients to our physicians when needed. Additionally, you will promote eye health through patient education, including guidance on the proper use and care of contact lenses, and provide specialized care for conditions such as dry eye disease.
