About the Opportunity: As Division Chief, you will lead and expand a premier program encompassing Thoracic, Cardiac, and Cardiovascular Imaging as well as Thoracic Interventions. Our state-of-the-art facilities, located within Duke University Hospital, foster a culture of interdisciplinary collaboration across pulmonology, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, oncology, and the prestigious Duke Cancer Institute. Your leadership will directly influence clinical practice, pioneering research, and academic growth.

• Work with state-of-the-art equipment including an expanding lineup of photon counting CT scanners and modern 1.5 and 3T MRI scanners.
• Foster groundbreaking collaborations with multidisciplinary teams across Duke Cancer Institute, Thoracic Oncology, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Vascular, and Cardiothoracic Surgery, driving forward clinical excellence and impactful patient outcomes.
• Engage in rich teaching opportunities within one of the nation's largest and most prestigious radiology residency and fellowship training programs, mentoring approximately 50 residents and overseeing the fellowship program.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified in Radiology, with subspecialty fellowship training in Cardiothoracic imaging.
• Proven record of academic achievement, including high-impact peer-reviewed publications, focused thematic research, and/or successful acquisition of grant funding.
• Demonstrated excellence and commitment in providing high-quality clinical care.
• Eligibility for appointment at Duke University at the academic rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
  Strong history of scholarly contributions and a clear passion for advancing the field of academic medicine.
