Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient urology coverage for 2-3 weekends per month (Thursday or Friday morning through Monday morning).
• Manage consults, round on patients, and perform necessary procedures/surgeries, including advanced endoscopic techniques and ureteroscopy.
• Respond to calls and perform surgeries as required, utilizing robotic facilities if credentialed.
• Collaborate with a team comprising one employed MD and two nurse practitioners, with onsite lab and radiology services.

Required Skills:

• Board-certified or eligible in Urology.
• Proficiency in general urology procedures, advanced endoscopic techniques, and ureteroscopy.
• Laser certification preferred.
• Ability to manage inpatient calls and perform surgeries independently.
• Strong communication and patient management skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with robotic-assisted urologic procedures.
• Prior locum or hospital-based Urology practice.
• Familiarity with diverse surgical techniques to enhance patient care.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Active medical license in Kentucky or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum of 2 years of Urology practice, including inpatient care.

Other Requirements:

• Credentialing anticipated within 90 days; temporary privileges available.
• Travel and lodging reimbursements provided, with standard/economy bookings and a ~$150/night lodging cap.
• Willingness to work weekend shifts in a hospital setting.
